We're all good kids, so why do we feel so bad?

These are the chronicles of "Mitchy" Wilson. This is a place where I store stuff, like thoughts and ideas, though the frequency here has greatly dwindled. I have a awesome job and amazing friends, and yet something is always missing. I am still a virgin.

Credit Where It's Due
I don't know what to think. If there is a God, then he deserves all of what I'm about to say. If it was pure coincidence and/or pity, then thank randomness. Last night I fell asleep after getting only half of my journals done. Now I have no one but myself to blame for procrastination, I know (Well, I guess I could blame the teachers, but that's just pointing the finger), but within the course of 5 periods and a smidge of lunch I managed to get them all done, even the ones I realized I had to do just this morning. This being around a good 200 poiunts, this could not be taken lightheartedly.
Thank you Mrs. Gray for lecturing on campaign finance
Thank you Mr. McAndrew for not calling me on my blatant not paying attention.
Thank you Mr. Callesen for... wait, you kept me and Elise busy all period long.
Thank you Dr. Blondeau for your sympathy.
Thank you lunch for letting me do my econ homework and discussing journals.
Thank you Mrs. Gray (again) for just reviewing Econ.
Thank you Thank you Thank you Sra. Franco for showing a movie.
Thank you Mr. Herring for not assigning any more journals.
Thank you everyone who had to hear me complain. I'm sorry. I'm a complainer.

still lose
Politics is bull, indeed.
It just bugs me that regardless of who we vote for or who wins, we still have a nation divided. Maybe what Edwards was saying about Two Americas ain't so far fetched. The worse part is that it's getting physical. Signs destroyed more than ever. Scuffles at rallies. Character demeaning in even the smaller reaces. Geesh.
Regardless of who wins, I just hope that they have the guts to do what they think is right. Bush was right when he ended his campiagn saying something like that yuo may not agree with him but at least you know where he stands.
We just finished a project in government class to help each candidate figure out who would win. I gave it to Kerry if he gets Ohio and keeps the same blue states from 2000. Mrs. Gray predicted a 269 all tie.
For a Rebublican democracy, we have a few flaws. But I understand that they're there for a reason. The most given is to keep the American politic a two part system. Well maybe if parties actually stood for something then we wouldn't have to worry about factions if we went to popular vote. France has its problems, but it teaches cooperation, which frankly seems like an UnAmerican concept. My way or the highway. We have half of our heads stuck underground and the other eye is closed. The system sucks, but I guess it's better than no system at all. When the candidates only care about a dozen or so states, that doesn't make us seem very united.
Now regardless of who wins, we must make strides to settle our differences out of court.
If pro is the opposite of con, then is progress the opposite of congress? Sounds stupid, but might not be.
