New pads. new shoes. new service.
Well, more like one pad, the same shoes, and the same good ol-fashioned service with a couple extra perks.
So I'm moved in to my apartment. It's pretty sweet. Only thing I have to complain about is the water temperature fluctuates a bit and the windows are much less soundproof than the walls, so it sounds like everything it happening right outside. I have the place mostly to myself until my roommate's mom comes back from Russia. But he was my roommate 3 years ago so hopefully it'll all work out.
My mom has another chat with another doctor about her kidney cancer. The first one we saw was a nice guy, and he said he could do the surgery if we needed t0, but he thinks my mom is a good candidate for this less-evasive-but-basically-gets-the-job-done procedure. I know she wanted to have her surgery and be recuperated by the time school started, but I think it's becoming too close to not overlap. I remember when she had her first round of surgeries (the first two didn't quite go well, but the third time was a charm). It was mostly a blur between her recuperation, my classes, and everything else. Cancer sucks.
Other than that things are pretty quiet. I managed to somewhat uphold my video game intentions. I did finish Mario Sunshine and am now going back to it to try and get a few more Shine Sprites. not all 120, cuz finding all those blues coins would be annoying, but as many as possible. Okami I might have time to work on. Eternal Darkness is in hiatus after giving me a serious freakout. So we'll see. I am getting good wifi so I can play Rock Band online with people. Of course, playing it locally is much more fun.
School starts in about a month. I hope I made the right choice, staying here in AZ. We'll see.
