Today's been weird, to say the least.
First thing as I come in, the school nurse comes up to me. It would've helped had I known that she was the school nurse, but I've only been to the actual office only once in my UHS career: one time last year when we were reading Moby Dick and I felt really bad. But anyway, so she comes up to me and she's start asking me all these questions on my knowledge of the stark increase of people with diabetes, etc. Obviously I knew what she was refering to, but I tried my best to appear concerned and listen to what she had to say. I explained to her of my backgrounds and stuff that have led me to be the person I am today, and then she went into informercial mode on me. It was almost time for the bell to ring, so I excused myself as politely as possible and headed to my locker. I know, I got issues, but I don't let them worry me too much. I mean, we have that Gazelle Glider in our living room, and I use it oocassionally, and I at the daily recommended allowance of 5 fruits/ veggies a week, right? lol.
BTW, have you seen that Geico commercial with the fitness trainer dude? It's funny.
I am a very good bailiff. I got them mad procedural skillz.
Got work done on our stats project, which we're so ready to present on Wednesday.
Even Ms. Stuart told me I was such a cute baby.
And at last we got our English project done. Granted, there were a couple of flubs (The B&W was not intentional) but alas it's over.
But I serioulsy don't think I'm gonna not be in school tomorrow. I took 2 Advil and a big cup of water when I got home, and like 2 two hours later I was sweating up a storm, which tells me I broke a fever, which means I had one in the first place. Mom says that when my eyes look Chinese that I am sick, but all I know is when they feel swollen, or at least they did earlier.
I tried some of that accupressure stuff, and it helps a bit but only if I keep at it for more than fifteen minutes. But I have a short attention
OOH! Pretty colors on TV!
I also bought a new CD at target yesterday- Theory of a Deadman's second major US album, Gasoline. It's pretty rockin'. K, not as wild as Zach Rave's band (which was really good btw but the large quantity of smoke in the bar is probably somewhat resposible for my current ailment.) but still pretty good. They kinda sound like Nickelback. They ought to: they're also Canadian. You know, we always put Canada down for a lot of stuff, but it seems to me that theyre the ones keeping rock alive. Now, I know I'm gonna prorlly offend someone, but I don't really like punk. True, I like some alternative, but not near enough to go to a SUm 41 tour or something. Jimmy Eat World, maybe. Green Day, no.
