From the Compton to the Bronix
Alas, VICTORY!
So now AP's are over for me as well as most UHS people. A few unfortunate people have Spanish Lit tomorrow, but that's not a lot of people.
Today was Econ, both Macro and Micro. Lots of people said that the Micro was harder than the mAcro, but I thought it was the other way around. But maybe that's what I get for being weird, or as Elise says jokingly in stats sometimes, an outlier. Meh, whatever. I hope I scraped with a 4 in Macro. It's possible I could get a 5, but I wouldn't bet on it. Micro I so totally dominated! The free response were sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo easy.
Just to let you know, the free response format is slightly different than most other AP's. First, you get to look at the green insert for 10 minutes but cannot begin to write in the pink book until after those 10 minutes are up. The "planning sesion" is to help you formulate your ideas, but I just think it's stupid. For the micro, I had all my answers already written in the green booklet, so it just tok me a little time to translate that to the pink book. If I don't get a 5 on micro I am gonna b totally heartbroken.
Oh, about the title. Since the free responses were so easy, I had me a little downtime. So I wrote a rap in each one, and man were they funny. The macro one started like:
Yo, all my homies down from Compton to the Bronix
This is MIxMaster Mula here to talk 'bout economics
You got your aggregate demand and your aggregate supply
Watch the value of the Euro shooting up towards the sky.
And Mister Alan Greenspan, he's the chairman of the Fed
Controlling all the money and the ladies in his bed....
The micro rap was a little more Old School...
Now, I know a girl named veronica, she's a classic
But all she likes to eat are those jarred pickles from Vlasic
She'll buy them at any cost- her demand's inelastic
Now if only her belt was, I told her, and me smacked me HARD
When I say M C you say M R:
MC (M R!)
MC (M R!)
I seriously got a kick out of writing those. After gov, I started to write the Animaniacs' president song, but my wrist was tired. Oh well, if I have a grader that notices those, maybe they'll apprecaite them.
We'll just have to see.
