decisions, decisions
K so I've spent a lot of time on the UofA website looking at all the different possibilities for majors and minors. For now I'm listed as a Mechanical Engineering major. That sounds cool cuz it deals a lot with systems and machines and some math. But I think I want a minor. For what, I do not know.
If I get a 5 on the Spanish AP (yeah right!) I could get a minor with only two more additional classes. If I get a 4 it would be 3 classes.
I could get an Econ minor in only 4 additional classes, assuming I got enough credit for my AP's.
Based on the curriculum for a Mech Eng major, only two additional math classes wold be needed for a math minor.
Or if I passed Mech Physics C, I could get an astronomy minor in 5 clases.
And those are the front runners. Econ might have the most application, but Math and Spanish would be arguable easier. Not that jobs really look for minors, but for some reason the schedule they have on the websites seems a little too easy.
I should've taken AP chem.

orientation may31-june1 for me... and registration has to be after orientation right? so after then. what about you?
yeehaw! we have the same orientation. Is thee a specific place and time we're supposed to go, or will they tell us?
And all I know for regisration is I still has to submit my immunization records.
Wow, UA really starts you guys off early. And I think a minor in astronomy would rock. But that's just me. You could always minor in something completely different from your major. Like creative writing...hmm.
And no, there's no reason why you should have taken AP Chem. Uggh.
mitchy... i'm worried... we don't have to take that "math readiness test" at the UA orientation right? because we got a 5 on the calc BC exam?? hopefully??
I would hope so, that we wouldn't have to take it.
