The lesser of two evils

I just realized I have to vote this November. For our government project I get to figure out what Bush should do to stay in his high chair. How wonderful...

Now I consider myself a rather neutral person. If faced with unavcoidable death or an all expense paid trip to Atlantis, I'd do whatever the person next to me is doing. Maybe I trust people too much; maybe I have no concept of opinion.

Obviously Bush or Kerry is going to win this election. I fear it will be a while before another third party contender like Perot can come and actually make the people decide from three candidates. As to whom I will vote for, I have no obvious idea.

Kerry looks like Lurch from the Addams Famliy.

Bush is seen as a dumb monkey (but didn't he beat Gore in SAT scores or something? Or did they alter those, too?)

Kerry will raise taxes and do something with Iraq

Bush will keep taxes low and do something in Iraq

Kerry is married to the ketchup lady

Cheney is the executive money whore.

And I don't care whose hair is prettier or who staunches over when they're talking or who looks like the better president. I want results, dammit. And based on the four years with Bush, through which we;ve suffered trauma, tragedy, and train derailments, the question is who is more apt to lead the next four years: the one who half the people love and already has plans set in stone, or the new guy who will ad lib and hopefully leave us smiling at the end.

And do I think I can really get the Flinn? Probably not.... I don'tvolunteer or help the elderly. I get good grades and look down and other people. Whaty kind of leadership qualities are those?

I have an English essay due tomorrow.
