boggling up my mind

Lots has been up.

Went bowling three days in a row. Averaged liek 102-ish overall for the 10ish games I played.

Went to a friend's house and DDRed for a long time. I can do Days GO BY by Dirty Vegas on Heavy MOde! That made me happy. Also, it's fun doing double mode with two people though it's supposed to be only one. Also, you should try hand hand revolution. That is using your hands on the arrows- you take two, someone else takes the rest. It makes the harder songs much more odable. With fourt people (I was the left arrow) we managed to survive throught MAXX unlimited HEavy mode!

And NOnstop mode rocks!

And college info has been coming out the wazoo. Pmaphlets. A video here or there. Crikey! About the ones I aforementioned- I'll probably apply to at least four of them. Because with us UHS people the question is not whether we can get into the colleges we want, it's which ones would we really go to. Any of us could very well probably get inot like 95% of all the colleges out there, but it's the searching process that boggles us. For most people, it's applying to colleges and then figuring from acceptance letters where to go. With us, it's hard to just decide where to apply. Then most or all of the colleges would accept us (unless you're already done with the whole Early Decision crap) and then we'd STILL have to figure out where to go. And we have a month to make a decision that will very likely affect our finanical and social lives for at least the next four years. My head hurts.

And then ther'es the whole ordeal of what to study in college. Now, some people knew what they wanted to be since 2nd grade or something. I'm that one who hates being tied down, and can't bring myself to think on just studying ONE thing. I mean right now I've got diploma-related jobs and easy jobs in my head. At the moment a few Ideas of what I wanna be are:

1. Professionla bowler
2. Weatheraman
3. That dude who chases the tornadoes and catches them on tape and sends them to all the syndicated news programs for money/ baker in the offseason
4. The guy who sets the devices and pushes the trigger for the building implosions, or maybe the guy who plans where to pit them (that would proabbly involve some sort of structural engineering- or rather destructural engineering :)
5. Anytying in the music business
6. Almost anything in the media business (Cameraman would be cool)
7. Bum.

Harvey Mudd sent me this thick brochure about what they offer and all that good stuff. I should read most of it. But I hate reading. I think I have some sort of undiagnosed minor cade of ADD. What happened to all the lonney toons shows and what's with this baby loney tunes crap? But Harvey Mudd seems like the MIT kinda sorta of the west coast, and MIT is too far away, and YAY! I'm rambling.

And then there's the theatre. Mom took me to go see that Connie and Carla movie cuz she thought I'd like it (why? I'm not quite sure- maybe cuz it might be funny.) It was funny, though; it just bombed because the whole idea with the gaypeople and the crossdressing and the violence and the name calling isn't quite family friendly fun. Mom like it for 5 reasons:

1. David Duchavny was in it.
2. They sang lots of showtunes
3. David Duchavny was in it.
4. It was by that Greek Wedding lady who's friends with Tom Hanks or something
5. David Duchavny was in it.

BUt seeing all the bad make up and bad lighting reminded me of drama. Sigh. Oy. I dunno what to do right now. To paraphrase Elise, work would be good, but I don't want to. Ever. BUt Rikli was telling me that if I had a part time job I could just take 4 classes maybe and then leave. I mean all I need to graduate from the strenuous criterium of UHS is AP Gov't and AP Whatever English we learn next year.

The MItchell Technical INstitute in South Dakota only offers Associates Degrees. IIT gives credit for a 3 in AP Comp Pol.

Wordplays.com has this game called boggler. It's annooying addictive. Get the high score. Haji is a word in their bank. And don't forget ghee and ghees. What they mean, I do not know.
