A Talk With Andrew

So last Friday I went to the school drama miscellaneous production thingy. Basically, the advanced kids did something they wanted. Monologue, musical number. That sort of stuff. And it was great. Brush up your Shakespeare and the women you will wow. Good ideas, dude. But I noticed that they had Charles Kelly do my part; they just couldn't deviate too far from the original masterpiece, I guess :)

But then some people did a revamped pplay of a student-written one-act written and performed last year. I was in it last year. I had to basically watch something I was a part of, and it was awkward. Mainly because I'm not in drama right now, you know. Stupid driver's ed. But watching it made me realize how much I missed the whole drama thing. The lights and the curtain and singing "I Will Survive" backstage before the show last year and all of it. Again, Greenie and I never entirely saw eye to eye, but I did drama for the thrill and not because of the teacher. Mom was wondering why I put up with her for so long, but I think it was worth it.

So now I'm a a dilemma. Should I audition for next year? I'm sure I'd get in advanced, but the main qquestion is do I feel up to it and a typical senior class schedule, including pounds of college applications. Should I compromise pain for pleasure? I don't know. Seriously, I just wanted to take Govt, English, Spanihs, MAYBE one math or science and that's it. I don't know.

Oh yeah, about the title. I know this might sound weird, but I think some kind of spirit/ghost/aura folowed me home aftrer the performance. I kept hearing this sounds of rocks behind me. I look behind; no one's there. So I don't know what it was but I started this conversation with this dude. Said his name was Andrew or Greg or something like that. Died when he was 17 in a car crash or something. He wasn't trying to tell me anything; think he was just lonely. So I let himside and he hungaround for a while. THen I got distracted and I think he left. Again, I don't know how of of this really makes any sense, but that's what happened so there the end.
