One day in Nerdland

So yeah, went to Phoenix yesterday for that math thingy. It was ok except for the part of us doing no real math. And it was all precalc/ algebra stuff, so easy, and the people were like, " I need a lifeline!" The only things I didn't like were complex numbers (I've never liked those; too complex) and math history. What is the fields medal? Apparently Archimedes is on it. Then we went to B.O.B. and ate at Friday's and played crosswords and came home. Alaska is the noerthernmost US state.

But the thing took place during this math convention/ job fair. And there were SO MANY NERDY PEOPLE THERE! With the balding (even the women!) and the glasses and the pocket protectors (I saw plenty) NOOOOOOO! I dont want to grow up to be like that. Save me, Save me. Please! Bowling is sounding very good right now.
