on second thought
Now double majoring in Physics and Astronomy doesn't seem like a half-bad idea.
But, of course, I'm a rather indecisive person, and if I could go to college for next to nothing for 20 more years I probably would.
Is triple minoring looked down upon?

when do you have to declare?
and are there enough hours in the day for you to fulfill all the credit requirements that would entail?
Well, declaring is such a relative term... though I'd probably start taking actual Mech Eng classes in the spring, so if I declared now that'd be cast in dried clay at least.
As for the minors, I'd need 2 math, 2-4 Spanish, 4 Econ, 5 Astronomy ,of which half of them would be physics classes :/, or 6 Psych. So I was thinking math/Econ/Span minors, and if I spread them out now that'd only be 1-2 additional classes a semester, which isn't horribly brutal and theoretically doable. But I think for the most part the minors depend on my Ap scores, as I have pending scores for Econ and Spanish. Math is by far the most doable and reasonable but, really, how reasonable am I? Heck, I could probably find a way to double major if I really wanted to, Math and MechE, I mean. Or MechE and Econ, which could be potentially more beneficial in a business environment. Or I could major major MechE and Econ AND get a minor in Math in only what, 8, 9 semesters?
But you get the idea. If I don't have some sort of structured plan going into this, I'll change directions half way and then really screw myself over.
