naptime
The number of times I can distinctly remember falling asleep during a class are few and far between, but today another scratch mark went on the wall. And in a class of 13 people, I have a feeling the teacher knew too that I was asleep. It must have been just a few sconds, though, cause he was still on the same frame of mind. But still, I fell asleep today, and it just felt so weird.
But besides the large travel time and the iffy hours of sleeping (maybe due to the increased dose of caffeine I average daily) I have felt like a perfectly fine zombie. Got an A on my chem test, so that always helps an ego. English is freaking me out. I know if I just take some time to concentrate on it then something will come out, but for now I'm hesitant to just try. Chem lab still sucks. But there's just this big thrill that comes from it all. And I like it a lot. Next semester I'm comtemplating 18 units again just to help me on my graduate career. I seriously think that if I put the effort into it, I could leave with an Engineering degree and a math minor in 3 years. But let's not get ahead of ourselves yet. The hard part is compromising between the workaholic and the procrastinator within.
My cousin's turning 21 on Thursday, but won't get to see him until Friday at the earliest. He's a pretty quiet guy (and much more of a geek than I could ever be!) but I hope he has a good time. His dad's taking him to a bar I reckon.
And I voted today! I seriously think my mom and i were the first ones at our poll spot- the lady had no idea how to find the names or anything. But, alas, we voted. And then we had Brawley's for breakfast. Yummy! How can you go wrong with 4 pancakes, eggs, bacon, and milk for 3 bucks? I dare you to find a better bargain.
