um, well, yeah so,
Mom's surgery was a complete waste of time. Nothing was removed, and now she's a lot more sore. From what I've been told, the problem is like trying to put a golf ball through the skinny end of a funnel. So she's not as bad off as she would normally be, but still it totally sucks for everyone. Phooey. And we have no idea how much this crap procedure is gonna cost. So now we have to get more referrals and set up new appointments and GAH! It sucks it sucks it sucks.

Well, for now things are back to normal. MOm's anesthesia has finally worn off (apparently she didn't react well to it) and her coughing has subsided. The problem's that I was more pissed off at the doc for not doing anything than necessarily bring worried about mom. I mean, he should have been able to tell in the xrays that he couldn't just waltz right in and scoop the stuff out, did he? But mom's set up another appointment to meet this other doctor, who's not an OBGYN but rather a really good surgeon, for this Friday so hopefully we'll have this settled faster than you can play a game of pick up sticks. We're just pissed off that we couldn't get this done before school started, but oh well, such is life.
